Looking for Work in Tampa Area or Online Writing Freelance Work, Can Travel a Bit

*Looking for writing work as well, see bottom of post for details*

I've got 3 years in large-scale, national merchandising as well as 4 years experience prior to that working in a small owner-operated surf/apparel store as buyer and assistant manager and a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising from Florida State. I've been wakeboarding for around 10 years now and still ride almost every weekend at the cable park. I constantly follow industry trends to see what's new in gear, both hardlines and softgoods.

I have a full-time job Mon-Fri but am seeing if any part-time reps might be needed in the Tampa Bay area. May be able to travel some on weekends if needed. Can send resume immediately.

I also have strong writing skills and am very flexible. I can write effectively including anything from tutorials, to event coverage, to interviews, to product descriptions, etc. Casual examples of my writing can be found at http://shreddblogg.blogspot.com/ . I've just started utilizing that blog but have a short write-up about my experience at the recent Red Bull "Toasted" with Parks Bonifay. Please let me know if you'd like to see more examples and I can provide you with interviews that I have done as well.

I should also mention. I have some experience with brand development and product development. This includes initial planning, market surveys, and product/brand launches.
