I have ridden the 06 shane and i really liked it. I was wondering if there is a differance between the 06 and the 07 model because you can find the 06 for a lot cheaper.

no.

the 07 is black!

other than that not really, LF changes their designs majorly ever 3 years i beleive (call me out if im wrong), and besides the new releases like the Axis and witness, there are no real design changes

yes they are diff...i know cuz i just bought the 06 ltds and thought about the 07s...but i liked 06 better. 07's have a larger and more pronounced heel hold structure (ankle padding inside the boot) and they are also stiffer, it seems they either added material or changed material on the sides to create a little bit stiffer cuff. i wear the 10-11 size, and the 06's fit perfect and felt like a glove and i couldnt be happier. i tried the 07 10-11 size, and if felt like my foot was in a vice...maybe they would stretch out over time, and maybe "heat mold" some (lol) but still im happy with my purchase and i got them for 200 bucks brand new, i'll take half off and more comfort any day.

I was told by wakeside.com that the 07 shanes are more flexible than the 06's and they said that they fit the foot tighter but i havent put my hands on any 07's yet (this is just what wakeside told me).

I got a pair of the 06's right when they came out and I love them. I just ordered my second pair (brand new) for $200 also.

but yea boards are the same

Yes, there is a difference between the 06 and 07 model. I have an 07 shane and my girl just bought an 06. The only difference is the bottom surface. The 06 model has a matte finish, while the 07 has a gloss finish. A matte finish feels faster on the water, while a gloss finish feels slower.
