hey guys ive got the west marine xxl tower speakers and im satisfied with the sound and whatnot, but just tired of the box look. any ideas on what i could do as far as the design of a new box goes as well as construction? here are the specs and pic of the speakers. <BR> <BR>8” mica cone woofers (with 20 oz. magnets), and clear, crisp highs with the 25mm silk soft dome tweeters. You'll likely spend way more money on making enclosures that you spent on the speakers. Enjoy them as they are since your happy with the sound. Maybe do a gloss black paint job on them or color match them to your boat.

Sell em on Ebay and buy some new ones.

I have those same speakers and I was thinking the same thing. I think they sound way to good just to get rid of. I like the round tube look but these speakers sound great for the price.

hey guys ive began work on a new box....gonna do a wood frame then some foam work then fiberglass it and have it color matched to my red tower. ill try to post some pics along the way.
