Hey guys I'm looking for a sac to go in the locker of my SAN. I hear that a fly high fat seat fit good in there. Problem is, I'm not sure if I can afford to drop another $170 for one sac. I have an old inflatable swimming pool lying around and I was wondering if I could just use that material to make my own custom sac? Has anyone ever tried this? What would I need to seal the seams, glue in quick connects, ect? It might not even be worth my time, but I thought I would just throw it out there.

I used to do alot of single-ply PVC roofing. If the sac is may from PVC you can simply heat weld it. The downside is you need a proper welder like a Leister($500+) to do so and know how to do it. Done right you can make anything you want out of PVC sheet and the seams will never leak. I have a bunch of leftovers laying around and still have a welder, I have thought about making some custom sacs but haven't gotten around to it yet. You may be able to chemical bond the seams also but I wouldn't trust it..........

Not sure what size your locker is but maybe you could try a waterbed or air mattress. I've done this before and I didnt have any issues.
