Any one know the leg diameter on the the standard towers sampson has made for the last couple years?

from their site... you looking into getting one? <BR> <BR>"Every tower is fabricated from 2" diameter thick wall 6061 aircraft aluminum tubing and is TIG welded using square wave technology."

I believe on some of the 07' bigger boats they went with 3". My friend has a RZ2 and his tower is 3", also saw a 24V with a 3" tower.

They have more custom looking towers that are bigger diameter, but the standard aftermarket one that most people get is the 2" that they show on their website.

Thanks. I saw the 2" on the site but wasn't sure about the older towers.

Ryan, our standard tubing is 2", however we also do 2.5" and 3" not only on custom towers but we can do the larger diameter on our standard tower. <BR> <BR>JP is correct in that we build towers for a lot of Tige dealers and the RZ tower is 3" That particular tower is called the switchblade. <BR> <BR>Another tower called the Razor (Used on Epic) is 2.5"

Thanks Gary just wanted to see if diameters had changed in the last 3 or 4 years on the traditional sampson tower.
