Going there for Mem. Day, any opinions on the lake, never been. We already have spots reserved so going elsewhere is not really an option. How is the lake besides being small? Are there a bunch of rocks/stumps? Thanks

I was there summer of '04, we stayed in a lakeside cabin. I remember that Park Lake had some rocks on the southwest end close to Highway 17 and a couple other random boulders. Nice resort with a heated pool, golfing, grocery store, café. There are a few spots for cliff jumping into the lake.
The Dry Falls visitor center is pretty cool and I think there is a shuttle to the Grand Coulee Dam for the laser light show. You will enjoy!
Sun lakes is very nice. Weather should be warm and dry. I prefer Pateros, Banks or Entiat for riding, but sun lake has decent water conditions most of the time.

I went there once. Did not ride there. Not sure I would want to especially on a busy weekend. It is fairly small with islands. There were lots of pwc and rowboats around. You could trailer up to Banks Lake and find some great water.
HD

I've got a friend thats stayin on the upper end of Banks. We might tow up there to scout our next camping trip. I've heard about Pateros and Entiat hopefully I can make it out there this summer. Thanks for all the input Craig, Hahn, Drew and entrust!

I have taken my boat out to Sun Lakes before. There are two launches, and both are a bit tricky. The one that isn't by the cabins, be Very careful going in and out. There are a ton of rocks that are hard to see. I ended up walking the boat in and out of that area because there were so many hard to see rocks.
