long blocks

For you guys who have replaced long blocks, where did you find the best price?? did you do new or reman??

I checked with some local companies on reman's, $2,300 to $2,400. I found these guys online and its $175 to get it shipped right to my work, at 2,600 i can hardly justify going reman when this is brand new and i dont have to give them a core. http://www.michiganmotorz.com/350ci-...ent-p-109.html

I have bought 2 engines from Rapido Marine in Florida. These were 350 chevy / mercruiser longblocks. $1,500. they are still running perfect.

Check with Sunwest Automotive in WA...I'm sure Mike can make you a deal.

Did you try Wagoman Bros? That's where we get our blocks from, zero problems so far. Not sure on the pricing but it'd be worth a call.
