Been riding an absolute 141. Saw it on video the other day and it is sure riding low in the water even at speed. Thinking of a Marius or something different due to the width. 6'5" 250lbs. Any suggestions

The Marius is awesome. I have also heard the Marek is good

Marius 140 is a great board for big guys.

Ride a Witness 144 if you can.

I am 6'6" and until the last couple months was around 245... I rode a Watson 142. Just speed the boat up some and you won't ride as low. Hah.

Any of the normal width boards over 143, and I have a fish 137 for fun and being loose, I have a gator militant 140 that is OK, and I have an older wes briscoe that is actually really good, but I have also thrown my bindings on my wife's gator gonzales 132 and CWB lotus 132 (I think) just to see what would happen and it was fine as long as boat speed was up. I tried the old Marius 140 but did not like it, heard the new style is much better, just need to try it for myself. I believe that it not just the width or length, but how much surface area is actually the "wet" area as the board rides. Oh and I am 6'1 and 240. I have not found that perfect board that has the speed I like along with the width that keeps me up. I have been interested in the slingshot or company boards but need to ride them to see if the flex is for me.

I'm 6'0, 259 and I'm riding an '08 Natty 144. I've only had it for a couple weeks, but it has been unbelievably good for me so far.

Slingshot response 145. It rides high lands SOFT.
It helped me nail w2w.

PS. I'm 6'4" 255lbs

Been riding a Decade 144 this season. Really beginning to love that board. Also has the ability to push your stance width out to 27" which is nice for us big boys. I'm 6'6" 250 and feel that when all the way out its very comfortable. Very good board, lots of fun to ride.

I was wondering if the flex would be too much for us heavier guys as most boards do not cater to us from a design standpoint. I now really really want to ride the slingshot 145 response! Too much flex would ride like a noodle...

I was amazed at how nice the landings felt going to a flex board. My knees dont hurt, my hips feel good, so I can ride longer.

After demoing 6+ boards over the last 2 months, it is by far my favorite.

I am 6'5" 240. I ride a LF Watson 142 finless and love it. Has great pop and cut fast as lightning.
