My new boat is registered... I have the square stickers in the glove box. But I haven't purchased the stickers to spell out the registration number on the hull.

What happens if I get pulled over on the water for this? Will they kick me off the lake, or will I be fine once I show them I am registered?

I'm worried about tomorrow.

Yeah, I know I should have taken care of this. I just keep forgetting until I'm out on the water.

Just pick some numbers up at Walmart or where you are going. You can always remove them and put on some nice ones. My guess would be that it depends on how the cop's day is going.

They might give you a hefty fine and kick you off the lake for the day. Really no excuse, just buy some stupid numbers.

They are usually pretty cool but know if they see you twice w/o #'s they won't be so cool. Be ready for an inspection when you do get pulled over.
I'm 2 for 2. Multnomah Co. got me once and Clark Co. got me once. I've been waiting on some special order #'s and I showed them the reg and they were cool. But did they did make a point to say If they say me again they wouldn't be so nice. Oh and my new #'s are now on.

I wouldn't chance it you are asking to get pulled over. Their only purpose is to generate income by ticketing YOU!
