Congrats dude. It's a beautiful boat. You'll have some great times ahead of you.
|
SWEET!!!!!! Congrats, where are you from? Lets hangout this summer :)

Well after an hour of cruising the forums, it looks like I'm gonna be part of a select few of MB owners who get bashed because we think our boats are quality.. am I on the right track yet?? Thanks Thomas, raised on boats but this is my first one I've personally owned. Only have 5 hours on it, and am happy about the purchase. Joe, I live in Tucson, AZ. I'm an Apache nut.

Awesome looking boat man, congrats. One of my favorite color combos. Quick question... how does your tacoma do towing a boat like that? Just kickin around getting a new taco bu I'm a little worried how it will tow. I have a diesel truck that I will use for long distance trips but I wouldn't mind using the tacoma for shorter distance towing if needed.
|
I would worry about towing with that Tacoma - Not necessarilly pulling the boat but stopping it woiuld scare me. Always netter to have more ptowing power and too little.

haha, guns blazin. Been a forum junkie for years, guess it just carries over to the next. Beleza, the Tacoma has a tow rating of 6500 lbs, boat and trailer weigh in around 5k dry. I'm sure when I'm fully loaded I'm right at the 6500 mark. Ive only had it on the road for a good 5 hours, in various hill, flat, winding road situation. I'm not going to tell you its the flagship of towing vehicles, but I was impressed by the truck to say the least. As far as brakes, the disks on the trailer really work well overall and in the one emergency stop I did. I'm happy I got the extreme trailer underneath the boat, worth the extra money (minus me being so OCD that I wipe the trailer down after I pull it out along with the boat lol.) I do have a chevy 2500 hd with an 8.1 available whenever I need to tow for the long haul, be using it next weekend headed to canyon just cause I have it at my dispense. The Tacoma will be getting bags and a supercharger, now that the woman believes I need them for a legitimate reason!! :) Thanks for all the good words guys, can't wait to ruffle the feathers of the tige guys ;)

Welcome and damn good looking set up.

Nice looking boat I guess...if you are into the styling of the 90's. You should have bought a Tige.

Seriously though, congrats on the new boat! I think I know what it feels like to own a MB.
When I was a kid, growing up in the 80's, we didn't have a lot of money. A lot of my friends had parachute pants but my parents couldn't afford to buy them for us. Several years after they were considered cool, my grandmother made me a pair. I wore them once or twice, thinking I could play them off as a 'custom made' pair of parachute pants. MB boats are the parachute pants of fashion in a Z. Cavaricci world. They are still pants so its better to have them than not. BTW guys (Chatt), if you still wear Affliction T's or shirts with embroidered crap all over it or even still have them in your closet, this analogy will make sense to you once the light goes off. |

Imagin the conversation you would be having with your friends and family telling them Hey lets go hook up with a guy You met on the Internet named "BALLS DEEP" lol lol lol congrats in your new boat . |
Seems appropriate.
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/m...2FE50590A7.jpg Just imagine 'No MB Sports' at the bottom of the sign. I don't have time to look for an app to edit the pic while on the bike at the gym, eating a breakfast burrito. I'm pretty sure I can script the rest of this thread. I'll be sorely disappointed to not see a certain picture by lunch time. |
I'm sorry to hear you paid too much for your boat TJ! :D the boat name is Balls Deep G!! Haha
|
Great colors on the boat, but good god just when you thought the new members of this forum were bad enough..........

All fun in games, politically correct isn't one of my traits Chris. Good welcoming committee

How is the Toyota Tacoma do for towing? I'm thinking about buying one and I might be pulling my boat across country soon (Tampa to Colorado or the Northwest). Current Setup attached: |

I didn't realize the 2013 MB's had a teak swim deck option. It makes sense though, I guess. |
Dylan, look up I wrote a little bit about the tacoma. It works, but of course there are better options. I like my tacoma, but ill be picking up another tow rig in the near future.
|
Are you planning on pulling in the mountains of colorado? If so the tacoma won't make it a fun trip.

If we move I'm thinking Ft. Collins area, so not driving through the mountains, but I may still look for something a bit larger for when I buy a SAN 230.

Also nautique doesn't have a dealer in colorado at this point |
Welcome to WW. Nice looking boat.

G2300 photo is AMAZING!!!
I am stoked on your MB. Rad color that will turn some heads on POP on the lake. I will be in Havasu the weekend of the 23rd. If that is remotely close to you lets see that beast! |
nice boat. im a fellow MB owner. i too find it funny how everyone bashes the MB boats. i dont bash any boat because i like them all. I cant help it i have more sense than money. 30K+ for some extra polished aluminum and a touch screen computer doesnt do it for me. LOL
|
I haven't heard anyone bash MB on this forum in like 3 years. Why does everyone feel like MB gets bashed?

MB's are not on the football team, they are on the cheer squad. All the football jocks call the cheer squad MB guy gay, pansy, etc...and yes, the MB guy is a bit effeminate, he really wouldn't make the football team, BUT, he is whacking cheerleaders all day, so he wins in the end. Unless of course a bear is chasing him and some football guys in which case the football guys outrun the MB guy. To the OP: great ride, MB makes world class wakes and your colour scheme is all like "whoa snap!!!" Now that MB has that new tower design they are one of the best looking boats on the water. Which means Tige wins the new UBOTW award. |

Attachment 28036 Mr. Deep ~ You got yourself a hell of a good looking ride. As you can see I'm a fan of white but really like to see what people choose and what comes out of the factory. You will have a hell of a summer with the new F21. CONGRATS! |
