has anyone tried one of these for linking stereos?

the wife got me a fm transmitter for v day and just wonding if anyone has tried using them. ive looked the trasmitter up and it seems pretty legit. just wondering if there is much lag time between my system and the ones im broadcasting to. the model she got me was a fs czh-05b seems like a lot easier ways to link stereos besides just jumping 420 to 420. ive heard wetsounds is coming up with something, what are they planning?

It is a ok piece to use in a pinch.. I havnt used one on a boat but have elsewhere. Sometimes it works good other times it has noise added , or breaks up... You'll get prolly a good couple boats each side that can receive the signal. It's fragile I've found out, but used properly and cautiously it can work.. :)
WS has been hinting to a Bluetooth piece all winter. It may be closer than we think?

We linked like 11 boats with one of these FM transmitters at Banks Lake last summer. The signal definitely is stronger up close but it worked pretty good if everyone has an FM stereo with an antenna.
