does anyone know how to clear metadata from an image?? is there software?

Probably not the best way to go about it but if you open the image, select all, copy, file new, paste, flatten and save, you'll have the same image with no metadata.

Do you mean exif data? <BR> <BR>Microsoft makes a free one that integrates into windows: <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/prophoto/photoinfo.mspx" target="_blank">http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/prophoto/photoinfo.mspx</a> <BR> <BR>This is the one I have used.

Easiest way... use Photoshop's "Save For Web" function. This clears all EXIF data when saving to a JPEG.
