Exile audio XM9 build
Well just placed a order with Brian from exile last night for 8x xm9's! Can't wait to get the. Hooked up. I'll post pics ones I get them, . Here a little run down of the system and a pic of the old tower setup

What alpine amps? Are you using the 2 harpoons to power the 8 XM9's? Is one of the alpine's going to run the sub and 1 going to somehow run all 8 interiors?

How come you did not go with the Exile Big 15 - that is a pretty popular subwoofer.
Is the Clarion from an exsisting setup? |
I was going to ask that as well. Seems like a lot of money into tower and interior speakers and not much into sub or interior amps if that is how you are going to run it.

$11,000 in just exile boat audio equipment alone, whoa.

I am going to get the big 15 this winter and most likely going to pick up the 4x800watt amp for the interiors next month. All the alpine and clarion stuff is in there from my prior system and just don't have the $$ to get everything at once.

This might just be the biggest exile system once it is all said and done.
My gut feeling is that it will be loud ;) |
I hope you have some $$$ to upgrade the battery's and wiring.. That setup will nuke a normal 2 battery setup pretty quick.

I have 3 batts (interstate srm27b) for just the system and one for starting the boat all hooked up on a perko switch. All the wiring is 0 gauge.

Plan on adding two more 27's after the big15 and other amps..... Your gonna be loud for Exile... That IS for sure centurion01 ;)

Chris - It'll be fun to see this setup finished. You're definitely going to need to punt that Clarion 15. I'll be down Norcal in a few weeks and would be happy to tune the boat and drink some of that beer on the dock. think you'll have all installed by then?

look what came in!! what are you guys running as a plug to go through the boat for 8 speakers? the one i have now is only for 4 speakers. also i was thing of just making my own wiring harness for these since i dont think u can buy a set up for 8 speakers?

this is why i love WW. i don't have two treads i simply replied to the other thread as someone started it for info and pics so you ask and u shall receive. also on the thread i started ppl mentioned seeing the amp rack and install so thats why i posted it there. as for board racks yes there is only one but as they say don't judge a book by its cover. it was 4th of july weekend at pedro. its more of a relaxing/hanging out time with friends rather then riding in some chopped out water. we are on the delta about every other weekend riding and put the other boards under the rear sun deck(lots of storage). so judge away my friends. also might wanna look at the other pics where the boards are on the boat before u start talking.... just saying

thanks guys, i built the rack out of plywood and have L brackets on the bottom back side and on the top it worked out where i could use a existing studs an i just re-bend a L bracket and it holds it perfect. ill try and get a pic for you.

That is a crazzzzayy setup. Sounds pretty damn good. Who cares about the music selection...dubstep sucks but if the ladies digg ot...why not.
