Motorola Droid Razor

I am due for an upgrade. Been 2 years since last phone. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy s on AT&T. I am switching to Verizon. I was thinking about the new Droid Razor. Or should I get an Iphone even though it is only 3G. Thanks for any advice.

Droid Razr Maxx is due to release in a few days. Everything I have heard sounds like a great phone. I just switched from AT&T Iphone to Verizon Droid and love it. The service in my area is way better and I am really happy with the Droid.

I have the Droid razor and its alright. The phone may be the thinnest but its wide! To determine if this phone is right for you I'm gonna have to ask a few questions...
How tall are you?
what is your wing span?
Can you palm a basket ball?

Quad Core HD phones are coming. For example, the HTC Edge:

I just picked up the new Rezound and I love it. Its got a very nice display and wicked fast with the 4G. 32G storage upgradable to 48g. Awesome multimedia phone. $100 off right now at the Verizon stores.
Of course now that I have this and they're talking about quad cores I guess I'm one step behind again.:)

Ill answer for my dad since he wont be on til later and he might get a faster reply this way.

first of all, he is only interested in getting the razor, im trying to push him into the iphone as its what i have and LOVE it. so he is kind of considering it. but no other phones out he is looking at currently.

but my dad is 6'6'', he is fairly tall, pretty big hands, so i dont doubt he could palm a basketball.

If he's going Verizon and Android and not doing the Samsung Galaxy Nexus he's making a mistake. I've had both and its miles better.

Thanks for all the feedback. I guess i have a lot more research to do. I have had a Galaxy S Samsung and not really happy with it. Internet slow and it locks up a lot. My son as you see wants me to get an Iphone. I don't like following the pack just because. I want fast internet and voice to text is a must. I am leaning towards the Droid Razor Maxx after looking into it today.

Hahaha! From what your son said a Droid razor can work for your stature! my biggest tift with the razor is its size (I'm 5'7 and can't palm a basket ball) and then there's the battery life... So frustrating with its short term life. But that's when you have it set to 4g lte/ cdma networks. If you Turn off the 4g lte and have it only run on cdma (3G) the phone lasts forever!

DC check out the new Razr Maxx they say the battery will last 20+ hours.

I wish I could switch but i've already had this phone far to
o long to be able to return. I've read up on that and would highly recommend it over the razor I have. If I had a do over I would get either the HTC rezound or the razor max
