We typically ride at New Hogan Res. The water is down to the old dam level and we're seeing islands and all sorts of things that have been under water for 40 years. We saw this along the shore, maybe 40 feet below the normal water level. It's a diesel fuel tank and it had fuel left in it.

Anyone else in California finding stuff?

How did you know it had fuel left in it?

We swam over to it. From the boat it looked like an old Ford Model A or T radiator, so we had to check it out. We gave directions to the location of the tank to the rangers.

Twice now in the last ten or twelve years Alum Creek Res. has gotten quite low. Both times unmarked graves were found, caskets were found sticking up out of the dirt.

I'd be interested in caskets, human remains, and of course sunken treasure!

Surfdad, maybe you will find the gopro that sunk!
