Hey I know this is really pointless, but would you have happened to be driving a white F-series truck towing a white Malibu today (Monday) going south on the 101? I was on the freeway at like 3:30 in Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks and I saw that setup completely plastered in Wakeworld.com decals. I was in a brand new white Dakota Quad Cab with a Malibu decal on the back...

Shannon

That sounds like dave's rig...Where on the 101? Dave lives near S.D.? I wonder if he was trying to steal our precious water?

staticlullaby 09-22-2003 7:39 PM

Naw, Thousand Oaks and Newbury are up like between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Precious water....mind if I steal it??

He must'a been on the way back from BoardStock!

Yup, and your Malibu decal is crooked. It tilts to the left. I just got home. I can't believe I remember that detail, but I do remember you pulling up on the left and then pulling in front of us.

We were on our way back from our annual pilgrimage to Lake San Antonio. It's the one trip I take every year where I step away from the computer and don't even have cell phone access for most of the time. It was absolutely beautiful and my family and I got in some great boarding. Sorry about the lack of changes in the site, but I've got to get away sometime!

Hahaha, that's weird you noticed-- I got the truck late Sunday night and we put the decal on that night in the dark- hence the crookedness. It's not sticking well anyways.

I remember trying to think where you could have been coming from...I was trying to decide between Shasta and SA, since Nacimiento's water level is down so low. Where do you stay up there? We were on North Shore twice this summer.

Shannon

We camp on the South shore, usually in Redondo Vista. However, this time we were with somebody with a motor home, so we camped at the Harris Creek sites with hookups.

Naci's water sure is low! We were thinking that there are all kinds of slider potential sites right now. How was San Antonio's level? That's the thing I hate about the whole Naci water project, Monterey county has there own lake and yet they draw from Naci. Always good to hear about people coming to visit my home on vacation!

San Antonio's level was perfect. Just low enough to give you some nice beaches.

We just got back from SA today! BUDDA all day! we were there since Fri! We stayed on north shore cove 1. If you ride there dont go to close to the bird sanctuary , some places are like 3 feet....

Dave what color is your boat?
We were up there in 04 VLX balck and gray....

That lake was crawling with Malibus! I only saw one MasterCraft and no Nautiques. I even saw a Sfvara! I have a white on white Wakesetter, but it sounds like we were mostly at the opposite end of the lake from you.
