i left the shutter open too long so they're overexposed. so i'm not too happy with 'em.

I think you guys did a good job, my suggestion is taking them into Photoshop, lightroom or whatever your editor is and playing with the contrast/brightness sliders and you can get rid of a lot of the smoke. Regardless any minor exposure problems could be fixed I would think.
