i have an older narrow beam direct drive and could not produce a large enough wake last weekend. How do you weight your direct drive? pics?

Here are some pics of the wake we had 4 years ago behind my 1992 Mastercraft Prostar 205. We put one fat sac on the side and one along the back(removed the back seat). It can be done! <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/559019/330880.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/559019/330881.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/559019/330882.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/559019/330883.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR>

Here's a vid of mine. 96 Malibu Sunsetter w/wedge down, 440lbs across the back and 440lbs on the side of the engine. 3 people in the boat. <BR> <BR><a href="http://wakepics.com/view_single.php/First-time-wakesurfin_wakeboarding-photos.html?medid=19046" target="_blank">http://wakepics.com/view_single.php/First-time-wakesurfin_wakeboarding-photos.html?medid=19046</a>

Mark, thanks - hard to believe the guy in the first pic wasn't at the end of a bailout. I have a 95 prostar 205 and maybe I had too much weight in the back, my wake looked tall enough but seemed very steep. So you're saying you only had 2x400lb sacs in there? How big is the board in the pics? speed? did the side sac overlap the one in the back (seat out)?

i run 1000 in the rear, 600 in the center locker and another 600 on the side in my DD nautique

Chris, <BR> <BR>It's been a while. That board is the first generation Inland Surfer board. Prabably 6'. I can't remember how fast we went, but do remember we had the sacs in an "L" shape in the back of the boat.

1200 rear, 700 bow walkway, and like 4+ people sitting/hanging off the side <IMG SRC="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0>
