spinning on rails...
yay, nay, or indifferent??
i am a huge naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. heh. opinions, go! |
I THINK IT'S A SKILL! some are better than others , since a 360 is the best i've done i would call myself beginner.
i think its kinda a must to learn to spin on rails..its kinda like saying you only going to just do wake to wake jump and not do any tricks. but just my opinion
hahahahaha
better than sharting.
It's more fun than a poke in the eye.
For me, it is all about having a good time, if you enjoy spinning on rails then spin away.
just depends on how you do it. if youre talking a repetitive over head "ole" on table at OWC then no. but if its a slow pressed spin (i.e. JD Webbs section - Rainbow Rail Sesh In ReWritten) then hell yes. Also the Derome bros are killing it on rails as well. All in opinion
Not on the rail surface. If you're gapping, transferring, or popping off the end or over transitions, you can spin
if you are happy spinning on rails, then do it. who gives a crap what others think?
As a laugh ever now and then, sure. Really slow a pressed out spins, done right they can be very good looking. But when you at a contest and you see 5 people in a row seriously spinning 9's or 10's across a flat-box I can't help but think it looks really silly.
So I guess I'm in the nay vote. p.s. anyone who oles on a rail should have that arm cut off....... haha |

anything beyond a pressed out 3 starts looking silly, and even the 3 needs to be sloooow to look good
