i'm looking at doing a front/mid/back ballast install. i found these, and curious if they're worth it for starting the parts accumulation. any advice would be great and much appreciated.

http://eugene.craigslist.org/boa/1029343986.html

btw- it would be going into a 92' sanger open bow. no ballast currently installed.

I would just go with some Rule 205FM pumps.. You can get them for under $30 each, they are 1100 GPH, they are super compact, and they do not need to be mounted. If you cannot find any for that price, let me know, and I'll hook you up..

Ken Land
Bullet Lines
www.bulletlines.com

Yes, they are aerator pumps. I have been using these pumps to replace pumps in my boat, and I friends who have been using them too.. My experience with the 205fm is that I have been using this as a replacement pump since the late 90's on all my boats, and I have never had one burn out.

Most pump companies will say that aerator pumps are not as good as bilge pumps, but I have found that the parts in a Rule 205fm aerator pump are virtually identical to the parts in Rule's 27sm auto bilge pump(except for the auto bilge electronics).

If you cannot find the 205fm cheap, just send me an email, and I'll hook you up..

Thanks,

Ken Land
Bullet Lines
kland@bulletli nes.com
www.bulletlines.com

I had aerators on my old boat. The Enzo has them for empty but uses a positive displacement pump for fill.

I'm looking for a low cost positive displacement pump for a warm water shower.

I know with the jabsco its just a plug that attaches to your switches is it the same on the Rules? So just plug and play??
