My 2001 Sanger trailer is turning from red to a near pink color. I have tried buffing it with anti-oxidation treatment. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.

My suggestion for long term quality finish is to have it powdercoated red... They can color match the powdercoat, its cheap, and its durable...

where has the trailer been? did you ever wax it? sounds a little new to have issues like that.

I would have thought powdercoating would have been prohibitively expensive, especially on something as big as a trailer.

DKJ

I agree with Adam-Powder coating a trailer sounds expensive. It would be cheaper just to have it sprayed with color matched Rhino lining. Doesnt powder coating require the object to be baked at high temps ?

Adam- for the most part my trailer gets stored in a garage. I have recently tried waxing it and buffing it with anti-oxidation treatment. Is there a wax that you use that you would recommend?

I recently had my trailer sandblasted and powdercoated (just the frame, not the fenders) and the total cost was $400 + tax...
