I have come across an Air Chair for sale...the guy selling it does not know the year....It has a chrome pedestal, and the board graphics are an "american flag" does anyone out there know what year the chrome pedestal(on air chair) was first introduced?...any info would be appreciated.

IF its deal (under $500) just buy it! It will be a good starter. If its over that save some $$$ to buy either a new airchair or Sky Ski. You'll wont regret it one bit.

Scott...Thanks for the reply..As you can probably tell, I'm a complete beginner...actually, never been on a Air Chair or Sky Ski...But it just looks like so much fun I have to have one....also this chair comes with 3 blades...beginner, intermediate, and advanced...I've seen those blades....they are polished metal, and are brand new....He says its a stealth model (so wouldn't that make it at least a 1999?)..he got the chair from someone who owed him money, so thats why he doesn't know that much about it.....I think I'll go for it, as I'm just a beginner...once I learn to "Fly" I'll ride both chairs and decide which one suits me best....thanks again...montana stevo
