I have a 2003 mastercraft that came with pp and it is not measuring the rpm's. i took it to the dealer before i noticed that it wasnt reading them and they said it was hooked up right. i was wondering if there is any setting that might be messed up on it? thankz

Check to see if it is in rpm mode. If not, it will not display them. I can't believe your dealer did not run you thru the directions after bringing it in once. Read the directions from perfect pass. They are available on their website if you did not get them from your dealer. you Access the rpm mode using the menu button. If you have done that and the rpm mode is showing but you have no numbers reading, then the wire is not hooked up to the tach wire. If it is, something is wrong with the computer or the display. Make sure all the wires going into the computer box are tightly connected.

And if you have Wakeboard Pro, it's best to use the speed based control and not RPM based. It's generally better at holding speed and more accurate with a weighted boat. It's incredibly easy to use so check out the manual that should have come with the boat. But if not, just download it from their website http://www.perfectpass.com/
my tach function and hour meter were not working when i installed my pro and i found the ground wire for the tach input not connected properly, my speed based functioned fine though--just no tach reading or hour meter.

see if your paddlewheel underneath the boat is broken.
