I am looking at a 2003 x2 for 29,900. Does anyone think this is a good deal? Does anyone know if the x2 is a good boat? Here is the add: MBCN2GG3L203
This is a 2003 Mastercraft X2 with 158 hours.
Boat looks and drives like a champion, and has barely been broken in. The engine has plenty of power and is running great !
The boat has a built in Ballast system, a fly high tower, perfectpass cruise control, tower speaker and an amazing amplifier.
The boat comes with a 1999 Mastercraft Galvanized trailer that is in good condition vin# 19MC52U1XX2000195
This boat is the real deal, and if you are into wakeboarding it throws an amazing wake .... my best friend and I purchased this boat together and have run into some issues over owning this toy together. We decided that our friendship is worth more than the boat so selling it is the best option.

Robert, are you in the NE United States? I am guessing by the trailer and the location that, that boat is a saltwater boat. If it is, it is overpriced in my opinion. There should be better options out there. The 2003 was somewhat stripped down stock if I remember right. It looks like he has most the good really important options. The color isn't the best for resale. If it is in good shape, hasn't been in saltwater, with those options and hours it is a pretty good starting price.

If your selling it, don't you know if its a good boat or not? I am confused.

Paul, he copied and pasted the guys craigslist ad. He forgot to put a blank line after "...good boat" and "Here is the add.."

lol, oh.

X2 is a great boat. Agreed though, if it has been in salt, look elsewhere. If not, thats a pretty good price.

I looked at that boat, I'm from Long Island, and he said he used it in brackish water maybe 30% of the time (The Hudson). It's lime green right? Just to be sure we're talking about the same boat.

yah that is the boat

Personally I thought 29k was too much for this boat. I've seen better deals on bigger boats here on Long Island.

The problem is that is a much sought after hull and an mc so it holds it's value much higher than say an x10 or something. Not saying the x10 is a bad boat by any stretch but the 205v is arguably the best wake ever next to the current xstar and cc 230. Yes I own a 2002 x star same boat paid 27900 with rtp engine a year ago in Florida.
