That doesn't look like a flex to me at all.

It looks like it might have a flex pattern on the outside of the feet. I'm thinking the ridges in the nose and tail would prevent most of the flex but there isn't anything by the bindings. <BR> <BR>Wonder why they changed the binding holes?

He probably got tired of the flex board absorbing his pop! lol

That's what I was thinking J-Rod. I'm interested in seeing how this board rides. New construction technologies without as much flex...

I know I know....I was just poking fun.

Apparently it has flex, it is a bit stiffer than normal "flex" boards but in the center (or the tail, I cannot remember) it is supposed to kind of "recoil" off the wake.

Nicola got her pro model board yesterday as well. Looks really cool.

Good to see Company holding true to their word. I was bummed when the new gear came out last year and it was just tweaked Slingshot stuff. They said things would be different and here it is!! Congrats to JS and the gang. <BR> <BR>Also, those boots look awesome. Well done! I'm guessing they changed the binding holes to be in line with their product development versus what Slingshot was doing. Good for them.

Actually Jordan that's the severance. Vandalls board does have sone flex but it's different than the recruit or severance it's a bit more rigid. Also company isn't all about flex theyre a wakeboard company not a flexboard company.

Most womans boards are just renamed models of something the board company they already have on the market. Hell yea that looks sick! That vandall setup is so damn nice, dont know if I could move off the severance shape, I love it too much but those bindings.. oh yea <BR> <BR>And back to a 2 hole system, im of 2 minds about that, its definitely a lot easier than the 4 hole system but theres no way it can give you as much lockdown

now that randall's board is stiffer, i'm tempted to check it out!

We loved the 4 hole pattern, but we would have never left the 4 hole pattern if we weren't able to make things better and even more locked down...You'll have to see for yourself!

The Recruit Series (continuous Rocker), The Severance Series (3 Stage Rocker), The Wild Child (Nicola's Pro Model) and the Vandall (Randall Harris's Pro Model). <BR> <BR>We should have full color images up on our web site before to long. Keep your eyes out for them to show up.

does the vandall have bottom features ala the LF hybrids?

Bizz, how can you not say the Severance is now Santori's pro model when his name is on it?!

Sorry. The Severance is now Tino's pro model, and rightfully so since he designed it. We did change some minor things in the core for this year however. <BR> <BR>The Vandall does have bottom features. V hull through the center with extra channels in the tip and tail. The fins sit in the channels angling the fins at a 5 degree angle. <BR> <BR>Hope this helps. <BR> <BR>Justin is studio shooting the product this week. Look for images soon.

wow, that board looks pretty sweet. i'd like to check out randall's board for sure!

These are all preliminary images, fresh from the camera about 2 hours ago...They need a little color correction and clipping in order to tighten things up, but we wanted to at least give you a little peak of what's coming down the pipeline. Hi-5!

The product looked really polished and dialed in at Expo. Not only are they cranking out some serious product but the passion and vibe they have are tops as well. Pumped on the addition of Schmaltz( = perfection), keep up the great work!

I wish the Severance 138 came in the green color. Also I'm curious to how the new binding system is going to stay tight and not slide around at all. It looks awesome and I'm sure you took that into consideration but could you explain it in a little more detail?

Hey Company did you use the same bottom base (slider base) as last year or did you put a different base on the bottom? I loved the severance but I need a more slider friendly bottom. I felt it "stuck" to the rails a little more than the slingshots and LF Grinds. Other than that it was a SICK riding board. Loved almost everything about it.

hey company, I'm pretty interested in using the Vandall as my cable board. One question what are the fins made of? <BR> <BR>The one issue I had with my severance at cable this year was the fins catching on obstacles and then ripping the board, the fins were actually too strong! Instead of just breaking off, they actually broke the board. <BR> <BR>I know Sine has some kind of flexy fin which sounds awesome, just wondering what the vandall will be using.

I bought a 142 Company Severance about four months ago...I was out riding a few weeks back and the top sheet cracked after a hard fall. I emailed the guys at company and they mailed me a replacement board in 4 days! I couldn't believe it. That was the best customer service I have ever experienced! That's how you make loyal customers.
