i just saw the new cover photo on nautiques Facebook page showing what the said is the new "g25". that is the only spot of info i cant find on it.

G25 next year, G21 the following. Thats what I was told by the pros when I was at Wakeboard Camp.

G25 info has been slower to come out than I expected. I was starting to get a little bit worried that it was not going to happen this year.
But from what I hear, G25 this year, then a 2014 G21 would be next.

I'll hold out till the G25.1

I would too. I am not in a position for either but I would get the bigger boat too and being completely honest I would have waited this summer out to get a G25, preventing the 2-foot-itis that I know I'd be struck with.

from what i've read the g23 is going to be THE wakeboard boat from CC. the 25 will still be nice, but geared more towards those who want/need a bigger boat.

anyone concerned that things are getting too big? Beginning of ballast bans on lakes, or length restrictions?

I could definately see this happening. If these wakes are getting as big as they claim and look everybody else that uses or lives on the medium to smaller lakes/rivers are going to have a $hit fit. Rightfully so I might add. At point can other boats not head out on the lake because it is unsage. Also, what happens when a stock ballast huge wakeboard wake swamps a small family boat. The person making the wake is at fault and would be liable for any damages. Could that come back on the boat manufacturer for producing and selling a boat that with stock wake is capable of swamping normal boats?

I could see this happening on a lake with size restrictions only. Because there are some 35ft + cruisers out there that throw some insane rollers at cruising speed. We had to cross one last summer and I slowed down next to nothing and it still almost swamped us. The rollers we crossed were the size of the g23 and the star put together loaded down.

Yeah, it would definately be smaller lakes/rivers. Places that you aren't going to see 30+ foot cruisers. Lake sammamish here in washington is a lake I would hope they put some restrictions on although the worry would be where do they stop. Lots of ski boats, family boats and fishing boats on lake sammamish. All those people shouldn't be screwed out of having a good time and feeling safe because some rich a-hole that only jumps the heelside wake(not a problem with this if on a regular wake) is f'ing up the entire lake and docks.

Its the reason I wont be getting the new G23 :) The private lake im moving onto will have a fit with me, already had issues there a few yrs back w/ friends running HLCDs on the tower. Everyone respects eachother and ive never even seen wakesurfing going there. Id like to not blow this fine opportunity of perfect glass 24/7.

I think that banning ballast, wake enhancing devices, and wakeboats is going to be a huge issue in the near future. Do a google search on it - it'll scare you. In my opinion, instead of "progressing" the sport, massive wakes might just kill it. I'm so sensitized to the issue that when a small boat is in my riding area I won't slam the boat. Everyone needs to be ultra, ultra concerned about this issue. Right now, the state of maryland is considering a ballast ban on Deep Creek Lake, which is a major riding spot. My guess is that many more states will follow. So, while I'm intrigued by the new star and the G23, I fear that because of boats like them I may someday be installing a slalom course instead of a rail.

I have that problem already. With 4 of us in the boat and ballast my swim platform is about 2 inches under water and that front bow loop is almost under water. On busy weekends in the summer I don't even like to go out to the local lake because of all the wash and the idiots that like to buzz by really close. I always have to be on point watching the water looking for uncoming rollers so I can get on the throttle if need be. One of the biggest reasons I can't wait to upgrade in to a newer style wakeboat with higher gunnels. Our family's summer house is on a lake that can get very windy and rough in no time and it gets very scary to be caught in it.

Damn, sick older B52. Let me know when you want to upgrade. I am in Seattle and if the price is right and I am ready for a boat I may have to consider yours or find a friend to buy it.

I heard they are rolling out a G21 late season

Ha, i have the same problem as you, except on a very small lake, pretty hard to share the water if the other boat sinks you.

Have a friend who works for a Nautique dealership said he got the see the new G25 and it was huge, but they wouldnt allow any pics. Gonna be a good year for the big 3 next year.

G25, 247 MXZ w the new Surf whatever they are doing, and maybe the X-star will be for sale.

I am so looking forward to seeing the G21!

Man just think how many of you will be selling ur current 210s lol when tht model comes out. Will be a buyers market:)

1 Yr old G23's is where its at next summer baby.

I can only hope...
