I don't ride there, but i've seen some nice cars coming out of Dubai.

haha ya the cars are unbelievable. Ive been here three years now and i havent gone one day without seeing a ferrari or an aston martin or bentley ect. <BR>No theres no parks here right now. But the sport is starting to grow because of all the demos we're doing. so hopefully it will continue expanding. <BR>Um gas... i think its like 40 or 50 cents a liter. Like it costs us 27 US dollars to fill up our SUV.

how do u stay out of jail?? I heard the laws are unreal there.

haha ya, well im 14 so id just get kicked out of the country. your probably thinking of saudi, lol believe it or not i lived there before here. That was crazy, women werent aloud to drive, you couldnt drink alcohol, you couldnt eat pork, women always had to be covered. it was crazy. here is alot more like north america. but its still screwed up, you'll get sent to jail and get like 200 whips if your gay, and having sex under age you'll get totally screwed. haha but its a good experience.

There is a pretty good scene out in dubai. A group of 20 of us go out pretty much every weekend to either The World, the fronds of Palm Jebal Ali, or out to Umm Al Quwain. Between us, we have 4 boats and there is more room than you can imagine. If you are just looking for a pull, the best spot for consistently smooth water is the Umm al Quwain boat club where you can get a pull and lessons. (just got my Company Super Limited tonight so can't wait to take the day off tomorrow and test it out!)

I have just had a quick look for the Umm al Quwain boat club online but cannot find any information, do they have a website? I am going to be heading out to Dubai for two weeks at the start of January to visit a friend and plan on spending as much time as possible on (or in) the water. Is there anywhere else worth going to get a pull?

where in Dubai are you going?

I will be staying at a friends house in the marina from the 30th Dec to the 12th Jan. I might pop over to Abu Dhabi to visit another friend while I'm over too.
