I've crashed hard many times and popped right out of the bindings, but yesterday, decided to try a couple of backrolls. Came up short every time and my lead foot would only pull half-way out of the binding and be jammed pretty good in it. Consequently, that ankle is strained pretty badly today. Would I be better to loosen the bindings on my invert attempts, or really crank them down tightly?

crank em down tight. Caus u don't want 1 foot to come out and the other to stay in (helps prevent the knee injury's)

I had the same problem with the Hyperlite 3060s. They griped like suction cups and I injured my ankle pretty good. I ride with the Byerly's now. I can crank them down good but on a hard fall they will come off.

i stuck my foot through my binding when i was learning backrolls...had to cut them boys apart...and my ankle was jacked up to top it off...so crank down the toe overlays

I second that boone, foot went through the toe...sprained ankle. Crank 'em down.
