I am getting an early start tomorrow to try and get a free spot on the logboom tomorrow to watch the hydro's and airshow. I see that you have to get there by 11 am to get a first come first serve pass (Logboom application PDF - http://www.seafair.com/events/hydro/logboom.asp) and then they close south of I-90 off. Anyone know if they'll have any left by 10 am? Also, what side(s) can you go under 520 from - East and/or West?

Anyone else going to be out there?

You can go under either side of 520. I will be watching from the shore, the log boom is pretty sketchy on sunday unless you have a beat up big boat. I don't think the log boom will fill up until sat pm or sun am. It was killing me at work today. I kept hearing the blue angles but I couldn't see them from where I was working.

The northwest log boom next to the I90 bridge is the best place for a smaller boat. I'll be watching the angels and the unlimited lights with my son from shore Saturday. If you have any love for your boat you won't raft it on the boom Sunday. My boat will be hitting one of the quietest summer days of the year over on Sammamish Sunday.
