how do they compare. i have ridden the 07 and really like it, it is the same as the 08. i want a new board and would hate to get a board and not like no place to demo around here.

I have an 08 shane. I really like it. It is loose but when you want to edge it looks on track pretty well. Never ridden the 09 though

i have a lyman 143 and like it but started to ride my buddies shane 140 and find i use less energy to cut and can ride forever i feel like there is less drag and can cut further out easier. i was wondering if the 09 is the same

Y a i ride a 140 and I am 6'1 180 lbs. It is much faster than my old board. I would think the 09 is the same shape because from what I have read it has been a really good seller for Liquid Force. Doubt they changed it for 09 but I am not positive.

the 09 is a tad slower, but other than that, same ride: big pop and super soft landings.

my concern is energy needed to cut wide the older one shoots me wide the lyman i have to hold my edge

I have a 07 Shane and demoed a 09 a while back. I thought the transition from one board to the other was great. I enjoyed riding the 09 more than my 07. I thought the speed was good and the pop was a little better than my 07. It felt like a smoother ride with a little more control.

how does it compare to the ONE? im about to demo this board myself.
