I was thinking of trying to urban wakeskate. Is there anybody out there who has tried it and like it?

I hate to be a bummer, but I think the whole urban wakeskate thing is totally gay. I know the industry is trying to make more people aware of watersports for sales purposes, but the streets are for skateboarding.

If you don't have a boat or a jet ski, it's totally a sick way to go!

Who said Urban Wakeskating means it has to be done on the streets?

schooledrider, your entitled to your own opinion but urban wakeskating isnt all about making people publicly aware of wakeskating for sales purposes. When i go wakeskating in dams, ditches and spillways I could care less if it markets wakeskating. I do it for the fun of it. The feeling of doing a trick down a spillway or dam is unbelievable especially in an urban setting.
