denverd1 01-12-2010 1:59 PM

hobointhecouv 01-12-2010 2:02 PM

AWS fan?

Slingshot 01-12-2010 2:12 PM

I love AWS, but its a lame drive when you get stuck in traffic going down there.

tonyv420 01-12-2010 2:15 PM

they will send it to to you free shipping, thats why I buy all my gear from AWS

hobointhecouv 01-12-2010 2:31 PM

and you dont mind waiting for gear? dont get me wrong....I like AWS but it would be nice to get some instant gratification! :] not waiting for gear, somewhere local that you could go and get the same stuff. Is there anything like that in the 'couv????? ANYONE????

tracktor 01-12-2010 2:49 PM

Nope, nothing in Vantucky. No sales tax in Oregon.........

hobointhecouv 01-12-2010 2:56 PM

true, no sales tax in OR. if you are driving to AWS or some other place in OR to buy your gear to save sales tax are you really saving $$....time, gas, etc all cost $$...does it make a difference? when Joe's was open, did you buy stuff there?

hobointhecouv 01-12-2010 3:02 PM

saving sales tax.....is that the only reason for shopping in OR???

Slingshot 01-12-2010 3:11 PM

Joes had stuff... but if you had any questions there was no one really there that could help you. AWS is rad cause they sell everything and their staff knows everything about all the gear they sell. Kinda far from the couve, but at least you will get the best stuff!

newty 01-12-2010 7:36 PM

I def feel your pain!
But... AWS guys are second to none as far as knowledge, dedication to the sport, and there customer service.

Bob where are you in the Couve?

nsolis220 01-12-2010 7:59 PM

dude its 20 mins if that

its not like your buying gas. it doesnt have to be on your local corner

jetskiprosx 01-12-2010 9:04 PM

Could be worse, you could live in Salem and have to travel 60 minutes to get to AWS

phenom_1819 01-12-2010 10:43 PM

Or Yakima! 3.5 hours to aws. 2.5 to Wileys. Those are pretty much the best of the closest options.
