Any MB/SAN owners with the PCM 330 every do any alternator work? Do the SAN's have the alt in the same wacky place, with the bracket on the wrong side of the mountpoint on the alt? I need some help with an alt swap i'm working on, and wanted to see if anyone's already been through this mess. Thanks in advance!

I have the engine in my boat. I havent changed the alt. I can e-mail my buddy who works for PCM that may have some advice. are you looking for a bolt on replacement that puts out more power?

I was actually just wondering if they built yours the same way, with the pivot bolt on top and the slide bolt in BACKWARD on the bracket. After looking at it again, it looks like i might have to custom fab a bracket for the new alt due to housing differences. Ugh. <BR>If he has any advice on an easier way to get to the inside bolt though, i'd appreciate it.
