Just brain storming the otherday, Has anyone tried this? Obvously would only do it in the water, was thinking using tiedowns around the sac to grab rail and transom eyes (lines up perfect) and inflating to approx 500 lb. My gut tells me it might not be the best idea on the other hand me like big curl. Hopefully somebody has done this.

i believe at one time, if memory serves me correct, there was a manufacturer that actually produced wake tanks that you could install underneath the platform? i remember seeing a handful of boats that had them in the pre-factory ballast days? either way, looks like it might work, if you don't mind giving up platform for a sac and also place all that added weight on your transom.. but there is the chance of losing it too? oh well, the curl might be worth it..

My platform is big enough I think there still would be room to sit on the bag or stand on the edge.If I strap it down then fill I think it'll be secure. I was going to run it across the platform and fill one side of factory ballast when surfing, couldn't hurt the wake boarding wake either, hoping I'd hit a homer on this one but don't want to risk harming the boat.

The company was called Waketank. You used to could find one on ebay from time to time.

just think, if your platform can hold 2 or 3 people standing on it and you dont worry about it, why not put 500 pounds back there?

I put a 600lb sac on the platform of my MC. It was far too much weight to put back there. The added leverage of the platform must amplify the weight and I reckon it was like having 1000lbs plus in the rear lockers.

I think the waketanks were like 300lbs max.
