I ride the yellowjacket as short as I can. I feel like get the best leverage at about 23mph.

Tell me how you ride.

Matt
I'm not really sure what length I ride but I just got a new straight line rope and it makes a huge difference over the $10 Kmart rope. I agree anything slower than 23 and I think the wake gets too washed out and you cant really crank on your cuts.

60 feet and 21-22mph with Wedge and 1000lbs. of ballast distributed between the back and front.

Weight is a big factor. Usually the more you weigh down the boat, the faster you need to go.

ride low, GO BIG!!

70 feet at 23-24 mph for more air. At 60 feet, I was landing way out in the flats with major bounce. Landing on the downside of the wake is less painful.

21 MPH on the PP and 60 feet of line - although I am going to increase my line length another 5 feet. Landing in the flats is killing me....

I have about 80 ft of rope(gonna cut it to 75-60,depending on my dad)and I travel at about 15-20.
