I'm putting together an interview for Keith Lyman and I wanted to get everybody's input on what questions you'd like to ask him. Let 'em fly...
malibuboarder75 08-09-2005 1:02 AM

what is your inspiration for your unique riding style?

snoobs 08-09-2005 6:36 AM

Does your hair stick up naturally or is that hair gel? If so, what brand of gel do you use?

wakebrdrnc 08-09-2005 7:17 AM

How did he just stand there besdie Megan in that pic from Portland and not jump her? Hehe! Sorry that's just not right.

tdeneka 08-09-2005 7:20 AM

"Does your hair stick up naturally or is that hair gel? If so, what brand of gel do you use?"

That's what I was gonna ask!!!!

tparider 08-09-2005 10:42 AM

How in the blue hell do you take that whirlybird 15 feet into the flats?

slipknot 08-09-2005 10:45 AM

are you still riding at 90' at 28mph?

7ftdubup 08-09-2005 10:48 AM

Just tell him he has the best looking nuclear birds of any rider doing them

mikeski 08-09-2005 10:56 AM

His handle work and line control is the best in the business. Does he use a specific or different technique when coming off the wake to load the line?

skull 08-09-2005 11:20 AM

Regarding the Judd sisters, Would you go through big fat Wynonna to get to Ashley?

mmobius2001 08-09-2005 12:09 PM

Whos your fav person to ride with?

he will probably answer Benny G, but interesting to see who else.

and also who whould he like to ride w/ more often.

pierce_bronkite 08-09-2005 12:45 PM

How many Tiges did you ruin?

liquidmx 08-09-2005 12:49 PM

I like the backstory on Lyman about camping out in Parks backyard with a tent, extension cord and a microwave(i believe I read that in an old wakeboarder mag).

Maybe ask some questions about that scenario?

guido 08-09-2005 1:17 PM

seriously..... How many boats have you sunk and how do you weight your current ride?

malibuboarder75 08-09-2005 2:07 PM

Yea, that would be a good question.

tparider 08-09-2005 3:19 PM

How much weight do you have to run to blow a transmission?

time4wake 08-09-2005 3:24 PM

maybe you could ask him to clear up his story about his past- Theres guys saying he lived in parks' backyard, I heard it was his own yard- He became pro in a year or whatever that WBM issue said- I heard he trained at WWC before that and it wasn't Parks who taught him everything... He was riding for Nirve back in the day too and that had to be before Krown and all that did he really go pro in 12 months? (from nothing)... I've heard so many stories about his past and it just doesn't seem to add up- Not sure if any of them are true- His riding is sick but whats the real story about how he came up- Was that a WBM deal trying to make it like he went pro instantly?

lfxstar 08-09-2005 6:30 PM

Is the key to getting a good nuclear grab on nuclear glides monkey arms, or is there some technique that i am missing taking off from the wake? I have short arms, and i like to blame my inability to get a good grab on a nuclear glide because of that.

slipknot 08-09-2005 6:31 PM

David, Pierce, and CIE, interesting info about destroying the boats, I have heard the same thing. He may be on his last leg with them from what rumours say. I guess 4000+lbs in tiges just don't cut it. Like 3 or 4 trannys from what I heard. Just because you get free boats you can destroy them mechanically?

jarrod 08-09-2005 7:40 PM

How in the hell do you go that big??

slipknot 08-09-2005 8:03 PM

Guy is close to being in the same league with RH as far as going big (not big, huge) is concerned, no doubt about that. I have seen him ride in person from the boat and it is something to be seen by all. Very entertaining.

One question for him may be, where do you see yourself in five years. Better yet, where do you see the sport in five years. Comments were made in WBM awhile back by him that alot of people were questioning.

fox 08-10-2005 7:51 AM

What's up with Emma these days?

board4ce07 08-10-2005 6:43 PM

Is it true that you started riding when you were 19 years old? thats what i heard

liquidmx 08-11-2005 1:12 AM

Yah that backstory I read mentioned something about him being able to do a couple basic inverts, and just deciding he would be pro and living with parks, hows that happen?

Maybe ask him about what makes him drive so hard to go that big? Why he does not enter contests? Who his regular crew is?

wbhata 08-17-2005 11:47 AM

Which do you like better, wakeworld.com or wakeboarder.com?

jarrod 08-17-2005 11:56 AM

He doesn't enter contests? I thought he rode in Reno, no?

ripr 08-17-2005 1:13 PM

Ask him how his knees are holding up.

wakinbakin 08-17-2005 11:19 PM

Ask him about Tige and how come he is not featured on their website or in any more of their ads, has he stopped riding for Tige? If so ask him why.

andy_nintzel 08-18-2005 5:14 PM

Did you get a new car yet?

jhilltn 08-21-2005 8:43 PM

yeah, he's not with tige anymore and he's got a new truck...

ask him what he thinks about canadian girls and how much he paid for his dog.
