Post your videos of <$500 cameras for wakeboarding
 

I recently started a thread regarding a good camera for from-boat recording of a wakeboarder. I purchased the Kodak Playsport and quickly found out that just because a camera touts HD, all that guarantees is large files, not necessarily quality image/movement etc. (I'm not knocking the camera, for the price it's well worth it, just not for what I want to do.)

When in the store, looking at other options, it was clear I have no idea what to look for because they don't show you sample videos in store, especially in high movement situations.

I'd like to see how many examples of wakeboarding footage we can get here from as many different cameras as possible. I assume there's a ton if $500+ cameras that can do well so I'd like to reduce it to those that are less than $500 for the average consumer cameras.

To participate myself, once I get them online, I'll post an example from the playsport ZX5 and also from an Olympus 1050SW (relatively similar in quality) tomorrow or so.

I have the Playsport ZX3 and shoot at 720P. The quality is decent for the price but it does have it's limitations. As long as you don't shoot into the sun and don't use the digital zoom too much, the images look good enough for an amateur like myself. I'm looking for something better though, with optical zoom and backlighting compensation.

I jimmy rigged a removable wide angle lens on the camera to get most of the skateboarding shots.
