Buying new - Dealer stock vs order - what discount on msrp

I sold my 215 a few years back, and a few of my friends have purchased boats this summer and now I have that itch again.

My question is what discount should I expect off msrp? What do you guys typically get and where? Am I better off getting a deeper discount on dealer stock or ordering?

I've been considering an fi23, SAN 230 if I go new.

Inventory is almost non-existent right now. Ordering may be your only option. My local Nautique dealer is currently out of boats. My local Centurion dealer has one Centurion currently for sale. Don’t expect much if any of a discount. Shortages combined with an increase in sales have wiped out the market. If you can scratch that itch with your friends boats until next year, that’s your best bet.
