Has anyone had any luck getting a good wave out of the 2001s?

I can get it slightly up there with the 1200lb I have. 400 on the back seat and 800 beside the motor on the starboard side.

Maybe I'm missing something?

All input is welcome....well aside from buying a new boat.

TIA

Derby

(Message edited by derby on May 23, 2006)

I recently went out with 440lb sack behind the driver seat and a 440ld sack across the back. 200lb driver, 200lb guy in the back corner, and a 200lb guy on the engine. Wave looked good, but i didn't get to surf it. I was driving 13-14mph, probably should have gone a little slower. I will try and get some pics up

Since the pics I've learned to throw the rope back in. We were going a little too fast in those pics.
I agree Entrust, very nice, however there was no such thing as a wedge in the 80's.

Still looking for under 20' DD weight configurations to get a nice wave, preferably a Nautique 2001.
