Any Good Lakes in Louisianna???
 

Hola everyone,
I am a Soldier currently living in TX, but will be moving to Fort Polk Louisianna by early next year. I own a 2010 MB B52 Team Widebody. I am looking for some good people and good lakes to wakesurf and/or wakeboard near the Fort Polk area. From what I have read, most of the lakes around the base are filled with stumps, and trees, etc...not too good to ride in...Can anyone help me find a good spot to surf and board at? The research I did suggested a couple places that were all about 3 hours away from Fort Polk....places such as Lake Dauterive, Ouachita River, and the Delcambre Canal. I am in serious need of some friends that can show me some good spots in LA once I move there, otherwise, I may look into selling my boat if I am unable to surf behind it for a few years! Someone please help save the boat and my sanity! Thanks mucho, take it ease everyone!
