Whats the best overall set up for a 21V. Currently I have 750s(only port side filled) in the back and a 1600(or there abouts) in the ski locker. We were running about 11mph, and the wave didn't seem all that good.

Anyone?

I am currently doing the following on my 21v

1150 lb GG front sac full
650 lb rear sack full
2 150 lb bricks on seat

I believe we run with the wakeplate at 50%. The wave is pretty big but isn't very long.

The 21V doesn't seem to be a great surf boat. I know a guy at my work who has one and really slams his with weight and he told me to fill the front 50% full and put a sac up front on the side. I haven't tried that yet.

Thanks Mike! I will try not running my front so full and get some peps up there on the side.

mikebu's buddy is correct. we just started messing around with our wake and to make it long you need weight up front. I have a large buddy who sits port side on the bow and that helps tremendously. good luck and have fun.

I run the 1150# in the front, full plate, full starboard rear locker 650#, with a 440# and 150# sac in starboard rear seat at 11.7mph (GPS'd) in my 2006 21V. Seems to work pretty well.
