Sanger V237 Displays "BAD" on initialization

Hey Guys,

I just got my V237 when I was on home on leave from Iraq, and noticed that when I turn the key to the on/acc position and the speedo and gauges initialize the LCD on the bottom of the speedo flashes "BAD" before going depth/temp or whatever it was last set on. I ran the boat for a while and had no issues, engine sounds good, temp stays around 160, transmission and v drive are normal temps (I measured them with a laser temp gun on the outside) and oil pressure is good. The only time it says bad is on initialization.

The gauges are medallion kysor - I emailed them and heard nothing back.

The dealer I bought this boat from didn't have any of the manuals for anything on the boat so I am making my way around the internet collecting them up - if you have anything for the V237 (2008) please send it my way!

Any one have any idea what the "BAD" means on the display?! Thanks!

Hey Nate,

If you haven't tried it yet, post up your question on the Sanger Forums as well: www.sangernation.com

I have a 237, but haven't come across that message before. Hopefully someone can sort you out.

Goodluck
