I'm looking to get a board for my wife. She's about 5'9, medium build. She's on the beginner side. I don't see her doing any hard riding, more like just getting up and cruising. What board/size should I get for her. Since she will probably just cruise on this thing, does it even really matter. Should I just get her a "pretty" board that I think she might like.

I bought a pair of Zeus bindings the other day for myself, but they seem a little tight. Was going to put these on her new board. Anyone use these bindings. Thoughts and/or opinions.

Thank you ladies of Wakeworld.

I would definitely recommend a pretty board, simply because most girls feel more confident when they are riding in style. As far as size goes, I don't think it will make that big of a difference what size you get her if she isn't planning on doing any big tricks, especially since you can adjust the bindings to make her more comfortable.

Thanks Brooke. I went with the Ronix Trinity board and some CWB Torqs bindings for her. I hope she likes them. I'm sure she will. She'll be surprised anyhow, she has no idea.

Good choice, I'm sure she will be thrilled knowing that she has her on board.

Got them today. See wakeboarding thread entitled "Oh Yeah!". And she was definitely stoked to get her new setup.
