my dad wants to take ours to the lake, but after we accidentally broke my sister-in-laws nose on it, no one wants to ride it. and he hasnt turned it in yet. but ive been gone the last 2 weeks out of the country, and i keep forgetting to look. but does anyone know if they are illegal, or just in specific areas and on certain lakes. i need to know about missouri, nebraska, and kansas. thanks!

it was a federal recall so if you send it in to sportsstuff you get your money back, but i don't think they're banned on all lakes. I live on a little private lake in IN and there's two kite tubes out here and security loves to watch them. lol

I would doubt they are illegal, but I may be wrong. I would say they are unsafe as hell if you use it incorrectly though. Wouldn't catch me on one.

haha. it was fun! but even if you try to ride it as a normal tube, make sure youre the only one. thats how i broke her nose <IMG SRC="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0> haha. there were 3 of us on there, and the stupid thing still flew..by accident! haha. i want my dad to send it in so we can get a bunch of other tubes, but he likes it too much....

they are illegal on almost every public waterway in the country, but still, check with your local authorities, because if you dont, you probably will have to talk to them on the lake.
|
Caleb...illegal according to what? I'm only aware of the CPSC recall.
|
