As snowboard season is coming up for me, I'm looking to buy a new board. I haven't been in the market since 1998 and haven't really looked at it until now. I can't believe the pricing these days. I'm sure wakeboards are headed toward prices that snowboards are now, but I hope it doesn't come too soon. Just a thought I had on a Friday afternoon at work. Sorry if it's a waste of time.

I had this conversation recently with one of my hookups for gear. He put it like this...Surfboards are $500-1000. Snowboards $400-700 and wakeboard usually top out at around $550. Its really the same amount of work to make a snowboard and a wakeboard. So before too long wakeboard companies will be raising prices to about the same price as a snowboard or surfboard. <BR> We will see if actually happens. It makes sense though with all the warranty issues and wakeboard companies struggling to make money. Does anyone know off hand what the msrp is for the ronix boards?
