#1 son turned 13 Friday so we pulled him out of school mid day and headed to the LF Free For All at Revolution cable. We took his regular crew along for good measure.
Yesterday we had just one buddy out at Keywadin for some doubles fun
Today we will have a full crew again and are headed to Blind Pass where I expect many hammers will be thrown. He is a great little dude and has put together a crew of fine young men that I dont mind having on the boat one bit. Everybody pitches in and all the work gets done chop chop.
This being a Dad stuff can be pretty fun. Exhausting but fun! :D

It was great to see you to John.
For those who dont know, John (AKA KING NEPTUNE) can flat out rip. He won a new GoPro Black for the best crash with I believe was a toe side front side double front to-face off the kicker. He just beat out Cam who entered what I think was a toe side back one and a half to head plant off the kicker. And maybe Stink with a classic Flying Squirrel. I got robbed on the Monster chugging contest. I had those young kids beat by 5 seconds easy. Rigged!
Anyway here is a pic I stole off my wife's facebook. Cameron, John Anderson and my wife Kathy.
Good looking mut John. I cant take the boat out without Misty.

BK, I totally agree you got robbed. That was my first reaction when they announced the winner.

Day Three was Blind Pass. I love this spot because it is deep and long with good current so there is always decent water despite any wind. The other cool thing about Blind Pass is that the river opens straight into the Gulf. You can see it in a few shots. There is an awesome beach that wraps around the point where everybody hangs out. Im sure to see friends there on any given day. Its also pretty easy to get to from the high and dry barn where my boat lives. Sunday we brought out the skate and three more boys. Im gassed, what a weekend.

Looks like a great time. I grew up on those waters as a kid but never skied. My parents loved fishing. Went back to Revolution on Saturday and tried the crow mobe again at the end of the day. On the 3rd or 4th try I stuck it for about 3 sec until I caught a back edge.

Got some video on Sat. Three crow mobe attempts at the end. The last one at 1:25 is the one I nearly stuck.

That was awesome! I guess the crowd was a little lighter on Saturday. Landing blind like that is going to take some practice.

Real light on Sat. More locals need to get out there. Yeah, my left arm at the shoulder is still feeling it a bit.
