I have about 7-8 tents. Everything from a bivy to a big cabin tent. For family car amping we use an ozark trail (Wally world brand). Cheap and a great tent for the purpose.

I have a Eureka tent that I have put through hell and even two dang near hurricane force wind and rain storms. We not only stayed dry, but it stayed standing! It is the dome style, so not as roomy as some of the Taj Mahal sizes, but better suited to extreme conditions.

I highly recommend a springbar tent, so easy to use and put up!! <BR><a href="http://www.kirkhams.com/catalog/Springbar_Tents-69-1.html" target="_blank">http://www.kirkhams.com/catalog/Springbar_Tents-69-1.html</a>

I am currently deciding what model I am going to purchase for my upcoming White Rim Trail ride...

Anybody know anything about this company? <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.campingequipmentco.com/cec_us/family-tents-c-2.html" target="_blank">http://www.campingequipmentco.com/cec_us/family-tents-c-2.html</a> <BR> <BR>I can find most of these for under or just over 3 but I don't know anything about the tents or the company. UNLIKE Eureka which I do know <BR> <BR>I like the Springbar but a little too pricey right now!

Pick the brand and model of tent that you want and do an internet search including places like Amazon and others. <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/%2C2082F_Eureka-NERGY-1310-Tent-with-12V-LED-Light-Kit-6-Person-3-Season.html" target="_blank">http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,2082F_Eureka-NERGY-1310-Tent-with-12V-LED-Light-Kit-6-Person-3-Season.html</a> <BR> <BR><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/Eureka-N-ergy-1310-Tent-NEW-FREE-SHIPPING_W0QQitemZ160397004091QQcmdZViewItemQQptZL H_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2558680d3b" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/Eureka-N-ergy-1310-Tent-NEW-FREE-SHIPPING_W0QQitemZ160397004091QQcmdZViewItemQQptZL H_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2558680d3b</a> <BR> <BR><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/Eureka-Copper-Canyon-1312-Eight-Person-Tent-13-x-12_W0QQitemZ180459725006QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_Defa ultDomain_0?hash=item2a043ce0ce" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/Eureka-Copper-Canyon-1312-Eight-Person-Tent-13-x-12_W0QQitemZ180459725006QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_Defa ultDomain_0?hash=item2a043ce0ce</a>

campmor.com is a great resource as well. If looking for something big, cabelas is also a good place since they focus more on they hunting/fishing crowd.

EJ Funny stuff!! Great minds! I have had alot of use with these tents over the years with scout outings. I plan on getting one this year as well for some family trips to Bear lake. The quality of these tents are superior to any other IMO
