riders choice?
 

so...i have been reading these forums for a while, hoping to get and idea of the top board to replace my beginner cwb ride with. i was shocked by the riders choice awards putting top boards up ive never heard of. at the same time, those were wakeboard company boards which i thought couldnt be possble based on reviews here. my question...should i give the byerly another thought and also, are these company boards not getting the rep they deserve in these forums?

The majority of the people that voted do not really wakesurf.
The same reason why Brian Grubb, Scott Byerly, and Brandon Thomas make the top 5 in wakeskating every year.
Wakeboarders are the ones voting. They vote on what they see the most and recognize. Most people have never heard of Inland Surfer even though in the wakesurf world they are the biggest. The sport is small and it needs support.

If you have the chance to ride a Byerly Hazard and then a board by a real wakesurf brand you will see the difference

Good advice Mitch - We started the movement but never have gotten credit from the Water Ski Industry so sad !
