I'd like to learn these really bad, i've had a few attempts but they havent gotten to close. I should be loading the line w/ a proggresive edge, wait for the pop, and where do i look to get the rotation and should i load my back foot coming into the wake, any help, is appreciated. Thanks

I don't do them, but wake physics says: <BR> <BR>It is essential to approach this trick exactly as you would approach a heelside wake jump. The only thing you have to incorporate that's different is the movement of your head. <BR> <BR>When you're at the point where you rise up the wake (note: rise means straightening your legs as you go up the wake), throw your head toward the tail of your board. To ensure that your head is moving in the right direction, try to put your ear to your back shoulder (similar to the way you would hold a telephone between your ear and shoulder). this will help you avoid throwing your head back and away from the boat, and force you to throw your head to the side (at a 90-degree angle to the boat). Rise up the wake while simultaneously throwing your head to the tail of your board, then freeze. Try to spot your landing and it will happen naturally.

IMO, Rene's link is a much better explanation of how to do a backroll. <BR> <BR>If that is what Wake Physics says then I would just stick to looking at the pictures because the explanation seems poor. And yes I know... who am I to question the pros. But that's my opinion.

Oh yeah I should also mention.... Add as much weight to the boat as you can. The bigger the wake the easier it will be to land.

Just wait! Don't throw it too soon. Make sure you ride through the wake.

What i've heard from a rider who rode with us who used to be on the pro tour also sounds similiar to Rene's link, and thanks to all of you, i should get to try again sunday
