Wake Surfboard Rack?

Ok here is what could be a stupid Question.

I just bought a Wake Surfboard (Ronix Cortez) and I am going to add a Rack to the Tower. Why is the slot on the rack so Big, the board is only 1.5 in thick but the Rack’s Slot is 4.5 in??

It is supose to hold 3 Surfboard?

Some boards are fatter than others.

4.5" seems really wide. The thickest board I have owned was a Blue Lake at 1.75 inches (a Red Woody is only 1.75 inches as well). I store my skim boards in my wakeboard rack and my surf style boards in my surf rack which is 2 inches wide.

I guess you could store more than one board in a slot if you took the fins off and put a sleeve on one of your boards so they done scratch each other.

Did you buy a knee board rack instead??? 4.5 inches is a HUGE gap for a surf rack!

It is a rack that came with the Boat http://www.aerialwakeboarding.com/Pr...=BT-SRFRCKU-BK it must be a Knee board rack.

Well that image didn't work, It is a Aerial Wake surf Rack which now that I look is exactly the same as their Knee Board Rack.

Look at the Double Surf rack that Nice-Rack.com offers.

what size clamp do you need? I have 3-4 open item surf racks that I have discounted pretty good. 2.25" opening.
